The mission of Rotary states "Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves."

Tacoma Sunrise is ready to take action and create a lasting impact within Tacoma by establishing a community grant fund through our special invitation. This fund will build over time and allow for Sunrise to impact our community where its needed the most.

General event funds raised will support ongoing commitments and partnerships with the following programs and projects:

Bryant Neighborhood Center: Serving as a community hub to link local residents with high quality resources, where young minds learn and grow, relationships are formed, and basic needs are met - all while amplifying residents’ vision for the community.

Palmer Scholars: Serving under-represented young adults of color to make college education a reality.

Rachel Plus: International Programs in Namibia (educational program to provide technology and laptops to classrooms).

Circle of Friends in Action (COFIA) International Programs in Uganda (supporting economic development for women through farming) .

All funds raised at this event will go to the Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Foundation and its on-going and annual partnerships stated above.
